This notice explains what personal information Make Your Dough Rise collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

Who we are

Make Your Dough Rise is a trading name of Bill Fradgley, 4 Ethelden Road, London W12 7BG. We design and build websites for bakeries, patisseries and independent food businesses, and we are responsible for the personal information described here. What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the contact form we collect:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your business name, if you choose to give it;
• whatever you write in your message.

Like any website, our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

We use the details you send us only to reply to your enquiry and, where you ask for one, to prepare a quote. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and on taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and receive your enquiries:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and forwards email sent to our address.
• Resend delivers the notification email that your form submission triggers.
• Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site, so your browser requests them directly from Google, which will see your IP address.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, it should be under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records. If you did not become a customer and would like your details deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, or restrict or stop how we use it. To do any of these, email hello@makeyourdoughrise.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
